We are based in Hamilton and Nelson, however we provide a nationwide service.
All we need is the site documentation, the plans and elevations and we can get started on your fire safety report fairly quickly.
As soon as we receive our signed “Engagement Agreement” back from the client, have completed any necessary site visits (if applicable) and have all the documentation, plans and elevations required, we are then able to complete a fire safety report within 3-5 business days dependent on the scale of the project.
The costs for each fire safety report varies greatly dependent on the size of the building and the difficulty of the task. So because of this, we generally prefer to take a look at the initial project plans and/or documents before advising our clients of any costs.
Unfortunately we do not. We do touch on one of the two F7 Clauses which is F7/AS1. We specify the type of Fire Alarm System that is required within our reports, however you will need to contact a fire alarm specialist or agent for specific fire alarm designs.
There are six Building Code clauses related to protecting people in and around buildings, limiting fire spread and helping firefighting and rescue.
Supporting them are two Verification Methods and seven Acceptable Solutions, based on the occupant activity in all or part of a building.
We cover the seven Acceptable Solution types C/AS1 to C/AS7, and we also touch on one of the two F7 Clauses which is F7/AS1 which details the type of Fire Alarm System that should be utilised within a building.
